HOW TO STAND OUT FROM MILLION OTHER BLOGS?
Hello there blog peeps!! Give me a high five if you are drained of blog ideas and think the apocalypse has fallen! You sit in front of your computer, stare into your 15-inches screen while you have your dalgona coffee? Gee. I know how you feel! Let’s face it, it’s real, I’ve been there too, all the time!! Well, you can pour a cup of tea and sit tight while I take you through some of the basic and effective ideas as of how to impact your target audience.
So, what makes a good blog anyway?
@They give a solution
Folks don’t just land on blogs out of the blue. When we seek out content, it’s because we have a problem that needs to be solved or a question that needs to be answered. Perhaps you are searching best DIYs to indulge in or maybe a recipe to perfect pepperoni-pizza! The thing is, we seek answers to our problems in blogs. So your blog SHOULD be informative.
@Blunt and straightforward.
“The arduous locus is fabricated when such words get maneuvered”. Don’t tell me this line didn’t just go over your head? Of course it did! Blogs are meant to be understood easily on sight. We are not here to test your vocabulary or to appreciate your intelligence. We are here because of the information you are providing. So give it to us straight or else I’m gonna resume scrolling my Instagram!
So, how to seize more traffic?
Umm good question!
Well, it is easy to jumble all your current thoughts into your blog but that is like taking your lovely readers on a rollercoaster ride. But you don’t choose a rollercoaster road when in hurry, do you?
So ORGANISE your blog. Pick a FORMAT and stick to it. Go step by step.
Base your blogs as the answers to the ‘five Ws’ and ‘how-tos’. It happens all the time when I want answers on ‘how to throw a party?’ or ‘Why am I still eating Maggi if it’s hazardous to health?’ or ‘When do I know I am ready for my exam?’. See, you are reading one of the kind. The point is, let your blog be the direct answers so they can pop up every time peeps put questions like this(It happens like..all the time).
Or you can just make a list. That always works. ‘10 dresses you will flaunt in every season’ or ‘5 proofs your boss is a PSYCHOPATH’. Just kiddin’! But the thing is, it’s always GO-TOs!
BREAK YOUR BLOGS INTO PIECES. People normally sleep in 15 min of lecture, do you suppose they are going to read your 2000-word essay-blog? Definitely-not. Break your blog on the basis of your format.
TRY TO KEEP IT FUNNY and FRIENDLY. If you write a blog as an essay how is it any different than the old history teacher mumbling the bookish language? Write a blog like you are talking to your friend. Make them comfortable with you!
Now! You are one good blogger. If not yet, you will be. Pick your niche and own your space! With the help of these tips and plenty of practice, you can be exactly that.
We still want to hear from you, though. What’s your experience with blogging been like? We want to hear it all.
